Pineapple Adventures ("we," "us") operates the Pineapple Adventures mobile app and this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who can use Pineapple Adventures
Our app and services are for adults 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. By creating an account you confirm you are 21+.
What we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider — we never see your plaintext password).
- Reviews you choose to write. If you submit a review of a resort, cruise line, or club, we store the review text and star rating you provide, linked to your account.
That's it. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, device advertising identifiers, or browsing activity. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the app.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To publish reviews you submit and show them to other members.
- To send account-related email (sign-in confirmation, password reset).
- To screen review content for our community standards before it publishes.
We do not sell your personal information.
Booking links
When you tap "Book" or "Visit Website," the app opens our travel partner's site in a browser. Anything you do on those sites is governed by their privacy policies, not ours. We may pass an affiliate code so the partner credits the referral to us.
Service providers
We use Supabase (database and authentication) and email delivery services to operate the app. They process data only to provide these services to us.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data until you ask us to delete it. To delete your account and associated data (including your reviews), email info@pineappleadventures.com and we will remove it within 30 days.
Security
Passwords are hashed and connections are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect specifically to reduce risk.
Children
This service is strictly for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
